Walking Group

Our next walk is taking place on Saturday 13th July, starting from the car park at Loch Turret at 10.30 am. We will walk back to Laggan Park, Comrie (approximately 8 miles) or for anyone fancying a longer walk, on to St Fillans.

 

The route is mainly on Land Rover track and at its highest point there are fantastic views south over Strathearn. The walk brings you down behind Lawers Estate and Fordie heading back through an avenue of Wellingtonia trees to West Lodge Caravan Park. The last very short section is on the pavement along the A85 from here to Laggan Park. We will stop for lunch en route so please remember to pack a picnic and drink.

 

As this is a linear route it would be helpful to know numbers in order to utilise as few cars as possible, leaving some at Laggan Park. We also have a currently injured walking buddy on hand that is willing to shuttle drivers back to the start to pick up their cars.
