Walking Group

Come and join us for a stroll around the village on Monday 28th March. This is an opportunity to walk off some of that excess of chocolate and see some of the new signs which are at present being put up around the village.

We’ll meet at 10.00am at The Field of Hope at the bottom of Station Road and end up at the village shop for refreshments.

Children are welcome accompanied by an adult and there will be things for them to find along the way.

Dogs are welcome if kept on leads. Lambing is starting and we shall be on roads part of the time.

Walks are held on the last Monday of each month starting on Easter Monday 28th March. 

We would like to stress that none of the walks will be boot camp marches. The idea is to have a pleasant morning out in the fresh air enjoying the scenery and wildlife, taking photographs and hopefully having a picnic or ending up with a coffee and snack somewhere.

Normally we’ll meet at The Field of Hope at about 9.45am. and either walk from there or take cars to a starting point. We intend to make some of the walks suitable for anyone with a buggy.
