From her humble beginnings in Glasgow to gracing the stages of Top of The Pops, T in The Park, and touring with Bryan Adams, Jackson’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Skip Gorman's songs, tunes and stories are from his personal experience as a cowboy in Wyoming, herding and rounding up cattle, bringing to life the beautifully poignant songs and music once shared around campfires by old-time Cowboys.

Skip's guest will be local singer and storyteller Margaret Bennett, who will share songs and stories of Highland crofters and drovers.

FILM: Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse Sunday 16 June 2024| 6.00pm | Tickets: £15.75 / £10.75

From the exhibition walls to the wonder and beauty of artists’ gardens like Giverny and Seebüll. The film takes a magical and widely travelled journey to discover how different contemporaries of Monet built and cultivated modern gardens to explore expressive motifs, abstract colour, decorative design, and utopian ideas. For lovers of art or lovers of gardens, this is an ideal film.

FILM: Remembering Together Strathearn Saturday 22 June 2024| 3.00pm | FREE Entry

The premiere of a new community film in 16mm by local artist Helen McCrorie, in partnership with community groups, care homes and schools around Strathearn.

The Covid-19 pandemic changed the lives of everyone in Scotland, but the ways by which it affected each community were unique. The film portrays some of the vital community hubs and green spaces that local people drew strength and solace from, both during and beyond the pandemic. It weaves together stories of loss and hope, with songs and music of Strathearn.

Based on a stranger than fiction true story, a 1920s English seaside town bears witness to a dark and absurd scandal in this riotous mystery comedy. When deeply conservative Edith and fellow residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, foulmouthed Irish migrant Rose Gooding is charged with the crime. As the town’s women investigate the crime, they suspect that something is amiss, and Rose may not be the culprit.
