Hamish Brown is a notable author, traveller, mountaineer and photographer, poet, and anthologist with a unique knowledge of Morocco and the Atlas Mountains. He has a unique knowledge of both mountains and the cultural traditions of the Berber people. In 2006, he led a small party on a unique thousand-mile end-to end trek of the Atlas. Hamish will be giving a talk and showing photographs from his travels in Morocco as part of the The Drovers’ Tryst walking festival.
