Mince Pie Walk

Mince Pie Walk
Mince Pie WalkDec 28th | St Fillans Bus Service 11:50 am

Dear All,

I hope you can all join us for this year's Festive Mince Pie Walk on Saturday 28th December.

We intend to board the regular Stagecoach bus service in St Fillans at 11.50 am and will alight at Dalchonzie, returning to St Fillans along the Railway Path. There will be an option to wander round the Kindrochet Chambered Cairn and explore our Crocodile/Serpent Stone en route.

This walk is along a 3 mile section of the Railway Path and is on a mainly bound surface with only a slight incline.

On reaching St Fillans you are invited to join us from 3pm (this should allow everyone enough time to nip home and change shoes etc) in the Sandison Hall for a pub afternoon/evening.

A glass of mulled wine and mince pie will be provided on arrival, though you are very welcome to bring your own bottle and snacks to keep you going as you join in some traditional pub games and have the opportunity to take part in a quiz with our very own quizmaster, Gordon.

The invite to join us in the Sandison Hall is open to everyone in the village regardless of whether you have been able to take part in the walk.

For catering purposes it would be useful to know how many of you can join us.

Please reply to [email protected]

A donation box will be available in the Sandison Hall to cover costs with any extra money raised going directly to the Community Trust.

Wishing you all a wonderful festive season, hope to see you on the 28th.

Ruth
