Christian Aid Week

Christian Aid Week this year is from Sunday 14th until Saturday 20th May.

As in previous years, you will have an envelope delivered to your home asking you to donate something to this good cause.

Christian Aid works with local people to support them with agriculture and small businesses in areas around the world.

This year’s appeal focuses on the charity’s work in Malawi, and efforts there to alleviate hunger by the growing of pigeon peas by local villagers.

I know this is a difficult time for many people in our country at the moment, but we hope you will still be able to help our fellow women and men in other countries, struggling with issues such as famine and war, for example in Afghanistan.

Envelopes can be returned to a collection point in Liam’s shop.
