Rambles and Roasts
As some of you may know I run a walking group called ‘Rambles & Roasts’ which was born out of my love of the great outdoors and Panu’s love of a good Sunday Roast – his favourite UK food! I am kicking off my regular Sunday rambles and roasts this weekend (24th) and it would be great to see some of the villagers join us.
We will leave from the hotel at 9:15 and head to Comrie to walk back via the Deil’s Cauldron & Loch Boltchan, 16km or so and 600m of ascent. (Day 2 of the Breadalbane ring walks). We can take up to 8 people along to Comrie, or if you choose to drive and meet there, we can take you back to your car after lunch.
This also means the first of our weekly Sunday Roast menus which you can find below. We’ll be serving them every Sunday from 1-3pm. No need to walk 16km first, you can just book a table for lunch!
Alongside this we are starting our Achray House Sunday Roast Club for the villagers. Collect ten stamps and get a free Sunday Roast on us.
If you would like to join the ‘Ramble & Roast’, please email me at [email protected]
If you would like to book a table for lunch, please email us at [email protected]
It could be a busy day with the rugby on and Panu can happily say that the big TV is set up and the SKY is working. Grab a beer and a comfy seat and enjoy the 6 nations action on the big screen.
Hope to see some of you, if not this week, in the weeks to come.
Kind regards,
