Loch Freuchie Circuit
Dear All,
Loch Freuchie Circuit
Our next walk is planned for Saturday 18th May, meeting at Amulree at 11.30am. There is parking in the lay-bys nearby.
This pleasant 7.75 mile walk around Loch Freuchie is in open countryside with picture-postcard setting, there are good opportunities for bird watching along the route. The walk itself is over easy terrain, with the return section on a minor road with little traffic on it.
Loch Freuchie rests sheltered behind the tiny settlement of Amulree in Glen Quaich. The half way point on this walk is at the top of the loch at a stone bridge with access down to the loch shore, this will provide us with an ideal lunch stop, so please remember to pack your picnic and binoculars if you have them.
A few villagers have mentioned that they would be keen to take part in the occasional more challenging walk with this in mind we have set our walk date for June and wanted to advertise it in advance to gauge interest? Please see -

The usual disclaimer that taking part in any of our walks in entirely at your own risk.
If anyone requires transport to either of these walks please let me know.
Hope you can join us,
Ruth
