Holy Moly and the Crackers
Coming up on November 17th at the White Church we have the phenomenal Holy Moly and the Crackers - the Newcastle gypsy folk rock 7 piece, who blew the socks off everyone who heard them play at the White Church last year. With a newly funked up image and tunes, they will sell out as they have been doing all across the country so watch this space to find out when the tickets are released. It'll be a high energy danceathon evening so come prepared!
They released their debut album "First Avenue" in October 2012 and an EP "Lilly" a year later - described as "a re-imagining of three traditional folk/blues songs that evokes eras of whisky and guns on modern punk folk steroids". These guys are musically competent and creative young people whose own feel good material is astonishingly good considering their relatively short time on the music circuit.
Tickets £15 are available locally from Hansen's Kitchen and the Post Office and the Eventbrite button below. Doors at 19.30. Bar will be open.
