Comrie Film Festival

Comrie Film Festival
Comrie Film FestivalFeb 1st - Feb 2nd | Comrie White Church

This will be the 4th Comrie festival and our theme this year is North, South, East, West and beyond. It's taking place on the weekend of 1st and 2nd February in Comrie White Church and is packed full of 10 great films, fascinating speakers and a feast provided by Hansen's Kitchen. To cap it all the festival will close with a performance by word class composer and pianist Dmytro Morykit, who will accompany the 1924 classic Fritz Lang film Destiny with a specially commissioned piece of music which he has performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

It's an absolute bargain of a festival.  A weekend ticket costs £15 and allows you to see all 10 films and to come and go as you please. Otherwise it's £5 per film on the door, apart from the children's film Rio on Sunday morning which is free, and schoolchildren also go free to the Arctic Academy films.

Tickets are from Eventbrite link and from Hansen's Kitchen in Comrie.  The feast costs £12 in advance from Hansen's Kitchen, or £15 on the night, subject to availability.
