BBC Countryfile Ramble

BBC Countryfile Ramble
BBC Countryfile RambleOct 5th | Noticeboard near the pedestrian foot bridge.

Dear All,

This is an invite for you, your friends and family to join us on Saturday 5th October at 2pm to take part in this year’s Countryfile Ramble, we will meet at the notice board near the pedestrian foot bridge.

For this year's ramble we have decided to (again) walk the "yellow route" in St Fillans. Whilst I know that many of you are very familiar with this walk, it's a super circular walk taking in the mixed woodland before reaching Morrell and the open views over the Loch. If you have them, please bring your set of binoculars as there are often sightings of golden eagles, we may even hear some rutting stags too!

More details of the walk can be found here

https://www.stfillanscc.org.uk/things-to-do/ if you scroll down to St Fillans walks - Old Village Ruins - Morrell

This is a fundraising walk for Children in Need (we had lots of children walk with us last year, hoping you can all join us again) and is part of the Countryfile Countryside Ramble weekend - I have set up a village donation page here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/stfillans.

If you are able to donate to this worthwhile cause that would be fantastic.

The photos and videos of our ramble last year featured several times on the Countryfile programme, if you do not wish to be included in any photos, it would be useful to know in advance.

If you have any questions, please get in touch [email protected]

Please be sure to bring a drink and snack to enjoy along the way.

Hoping you can join us,

Ruth
