St Fillans Future Meeting

Everyone has an idea how to make St Fillans great and it is time to build on the great work already being done and work together, update our Community Action Plan (CAP) and deliver those ideas.

Please come along at 1 pm. for a short presentation and help form a Working Group to take the process of creating an updated CAP forward.

The Community Partnership will be at the meeting to describe the support they can give and the St Fillans Community Council have already pledged their to support to an inclusive consultation process.

It is very important for as many people as possible to come along to the meeting and for people to put there hands up and join the working group; especially if they aren't already involved in Village events etc. Although everyone is welcome, a wide range of experience and skills will only add to the working group.

Has anyone got any great ideas of new projects they would like done in St Fillans? These are some that have been mentioned in passing before:

• Glamping Site on the field behind the War Memorial.
• 'Moving' Sandison Hall to the football pitch.
• Upgrading the Landscaping the river bank at the East Side of the Village.
• Village Allotments.

I'd like people to get talking, putting forward their own ideas and beginning to create a buzz before the meeting. Then, if you feel strongly enough about any particular idea - it doesn't matter what it is - come along to the meeting and join the Working Group that will be responsible for carrying out the necessary consultation to find out everyone's opinions and deliver a Community Action Plan.
