Evening River Earn Bat Walk
Join Aquila Ecology and bat detecting trainees for an evening bat walk by the river in St Fillans.
We will be using bat detectors to help us to identify the species flying around us and we may be lucky enough to see other creatures of the night such as Otter and Beaver.
Roding Woodcock are also frequently seen and heard flying over the river in the evening and there's also the chance of Osprey fishing for their supper on the loch.
We will meet on the bridge opposite the Loch Earn Brewery and Visitor Centre (née The Drummond) at 8.30pm until around 10pm. A wee dram may be order afterward at a local hostelry :)
The cost will be £6 per person, with £1 from every booking being donated to Bat Conservation Trust. Children under 12 can come for free.

Please note, if the weather is heavy rain or strong winds the walk will not go ahead.
