The plan is to meet at the lay-by just beyond the entrance to Ardvorlich House on Saturday 22nd June at 10am armed with lots of fluid, a picnic and I also suggest bringing extra clothing to put on at the top as it can be considerably colder and windy.

Ben Vorlich stands at the height of 3,232ft, the walk up and back is approximately 9 miles and takes between 4 - 6 hours to complete so it is therefore not a walk in the park!

The idea would be to stop at the summit for lunch before descending but all of this is very much weather dependent.

I would encourage anyone looking to do a Munro to join us, this won't be a race to the top. The timing of this walk allows plenty of daylight hours to enable everyone to go at their own pace enjoying the various views along the way.
